Synchronous generators are widely used in modern power systems,such as evaporative power units,diesel generator sets and wind turbines.Electric excitation synchronous generators are the most common type of synchronous generators.Synchronous generators have the advantages of high power factor,high operating efficiency,good stability and constant speed.The traditional synchronous generator is a symmetrical rotor structure.When a winding fault occurs,it is difficult to replace the winding during maintenance.In the field maintenance,rapid disassembly and maintenance is extremely important.In view of this problem,this paper starts from improving the efficiency of motor maintenance and installation,enhances motor stability and improves efficiency.The main research is summarized as follows.In this paper,the synchronous generator is used as the research object to optimize the motor.The first time is to cut the right side of the rotor tip with a curved shape.The arc is directly connected to the rotor pole and the outside to achieve the design purpose of the asymmetric rotor.The second optimization is to connect the polar body to the outer arc and optimize the target for output torque and loss.The curved radius is used to optimize the curved side of the right end of the rotor.At the same time,the width of the pole piece is optimized on the left side of the rotor,the torque and efficiency are optimized,and the optimal solution is obtained.Finally,the simulation model is used to simulate and experiment.According to the principle analysis of the motor,the AutoCAD and Magnet simulation models are established.The matching of the tooth grooves on both sides of the rotor is used to meet the requirements of the motor for torque and efficiency data.The main characteristics of the motor are analyzed in the simulation,including the synchronous generator's magnetic field,back EMF,no-load torque,no-load electromotive force,harmonics,load torque,starting speed and efficiency.Finally,the experimental verification of the asymmetric rotor synchronous generator is completed by experiments.The experiments mainly verify the no-load electromotive force,harmonics,efficiency,torque and no-load and load characteristics.At the same time,the simulation and experimental analysis of the running characteristics(positive and reverse rotation)of the motor are carried out to verify the correct operation mode of the motor.This paper theoretically analyzes the comparison between the parameters of the symmetrical rotor and the asymmetric rotor.The rotor structure not only can improve the efficiency of maintenance and installation of the motor,but also does not change the original performance of the motor.Through this method and conclusion,it has certain guiding significance for the design of synchronous motor in the future.
