Based on the different arrangements of rib beam and column, different border conditions different high thickness ratio and ratio of width to thickness, this paper do the test and theoretical research on eight common 1:2 ratio of ribbed type steel shear wall with slits, and the main research contents are as follows:(1)By analyzing of the internal force transformation and energy dissipation mechanism of this kind of wall panel from the energy dissipation capacity, bearing capacity, ductility and the stress distribution and the mechanism of wall work together based on 2 cross ribbed type steel shear wall with slits of quasi static test research in order to make clear the failure mode and energy dissipation mechanism of the structure.(2)This paper analysis the 2 common new type of steel plate shear wall under unidirectional and cycle load performance by simulating beams, columns and embedded steel plate using shell 181 element of ANSYS.The results show that the finite element simulation of structural stress development process and failure mode is consistent with the experiment phenomenon, the finite element analysis results are consistent with the experiment and it is an effective means of numerical analysis by comparing with the test results.(3)Based on the above research, this paper analyses the influence on shear performance and buckling resistance of the new type of steel plate shear wall according to the main parameters(the high thickmess ratio and ratio of width to thickness of fill plate)systematically by using the nonlinear finite element in order to provide the reference for the research and design personnel.
