Abstract/Summary:
As the global energy crisis and environmental problems becoming more serious,emissions of harmful gas during ships operating process has caused widely concern.Both IMO and coastal government have set clear requirements on the emissions of ships and require new ships to have to meet the requirements of energy-saving emission reduction.The ship propulsion system is the main energy-consuming unit,which provides the power demand and safety guarantee for the ship’s navigation.Due to the development of power electronic technology and new energy technology,the ship propulsion system is gradually being developed from a single diesel propulsion system to a hybrid propulsion system.Compared with the previous design of ship propulsion system,only considering the maximum power matching without considering the requirements of environmental protection,diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system can not only meet the ship’s power requirements,but also meet the marine environmental requirements,and more conducive to the ship’s intelligent development.The scheme evaluation study on ship propulsion system involves a number of parameters and a variety of assessment methods used in combination,and the calculation process is quite complex,evaluation system for diesel-electric hybrid propulsion can greatly enhance the work efficiency with programming languages VB.NET.Based on "Zhejiang fishery scientific research ship 2" as object,compared with diesel engine power and electric power propulsion system at the same time,focusing on the dynamic performance,economic performance,environmental performance and so on,highlight the advantage of the diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system as scientific research ship.The main research works are as follow:According to the characteristics of ship propulsion system,the simplified model of diesel engine,the model of motor and the model of paddle motion of four-image boundary are created respectively by MATLAB / Simulink.The dynamic response of diesel engine is simulated through controlling the throttle which is gradually increased,by observing the ship speed,torque,drag curve of ship to explore the dynamic response of a diesel driven.The dynamic response of motor driven is explored by controlling the motor speed.Compared diesel engine fuel consumption and motor power consumption especially on low-load to conclude the motor has the advantages of energy-saving under low load maneuvering conditions.The scheme evaluation of the diesel-electric propulsion system involves in many factors.The qualitative analysis of the EEDI indicators is made,quantitative analysis of economy and environmental protection(harmful exhaust emissions)are made.At the same time,compared with the diesel power and the pure electric power to explore the advantages of diesel-electric hybrid system in energy-saving and emission reduction during operation.According to the selection principle of scheme parameters,the hierarchical structure evaluation model of diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system is established.The weight of the scheme parameters is calculated by analytic hierarchy process(AHP).The quantitative parameters of the scheme are calculated and analyzed by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.The qualitative parameters of the scheme are calculated by gray evaluation theory.Take " Zhejiang fishery scientific research ship 2" as an example to verify the feasibility and rationality of the hybrid diesel propulsion system as a scientific research ship.The evaluation of diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system is a systematic engineering.The hierarchical model of the system involves many parameters calculation,including large numbers of matrix calculation,which is quiet complex by manual calculation,the efficiency is low,and easily lead to human error,in order to make estimator,quickly,efficiently and scientifically evaluated the propulsion system solutions and meet the needs of automated ship design at the same time,evaluation system for the characteristics of diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system with VB.NET is developed.
