Relieving road crowded in the peak of morning and evening and provide urban development vitality and improve travel efficiency of people that work,live and play at the city by urban rail transit develop quickly.Catenary traction power supply system is an important part of all metro operation.When catenary traction power supply system is broken down,subway train departure time is affected and location of fault location takes a long time.There are many types of power supply faults in the urban rail transit catenary system,and it is of practical significance to analyze the types of faults that can cause the catenary faults.This paper set up the catenary power failure tree model,get the bottom events easily lead to catenary power failure through analysis;followed by fault tree analysis results,using impedance method and traveling wave method principle,using MATLAB/Simulink to build model and simulation analysis;finally,considering the impact on the running rail resistance on the fault location error impedance method.It has practical guiding significance for daily maintenance of Metro catenary and rapid determination of fault location.Because of city rail traffic contact net power system fault is very complicated,but at present,domestic and foreign research on city rail traffic contact net system fault location of power supply is less,aiming at how to catenary power system short circuit fault location,the main work is as follows:(1)the power supply mode of the catenary power supply system for urban rail transit is studied,and the fault types and current methods and measures of the power supply failure in catenary at home and abroad are analyzed;(2)through the research and classification of the failure types of catenary power supply,the failure tree model of traction power supply for urban rail transit is built byusing the barrier tree principle.Based on Fussell method,the fault tree model is qualitatively analyzed,and the minimum cut set leading to the failure of train power supply system is obtained.The minimum cut set is used to quantitatively analyze the fault tree model,and the reliability of train traction power supply system,average fault free operation time,structural importance of the bottom event and probability importance are obtained.On the basis of the analysis,the three types of faults,fracture,wear and discharge,are most likely to cause system failure;(3)study on the impedance method based on the principle of combining the characteristics of city rail traffic contact net DC power supply,the catenary fault location algorithm,and the feasibility of the MATLAB/Simulink simulation analysis of the location method.(4)studying on the traveling wave method based on the principle of combining the characteristics of city rail traffic contact net DC power supply,the short circuit fault location network contact algorithm,and the feasibility of MATLAB/Simulink simulation analysis of traveling wave location method.(5)the effect of rail resistance on impedance method,the 60kg/m and 50kg/m rail on impedance of catenary short circuit fault location respectively,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the scheme through MATLAB/Simulink simulation.
