In the development of urban transit,urban rail transit and Suburban railway are divided into different levels by functional logic.The urban rail transit mainly severs the short-distance travel within the inner city,and the suburban railway severs the longdistance travel between the urban center and the suburb.However,with teh continuous expansion of the city scale and the increase of urban commuting,the suburban railway slao takes on the urban commuting needs.At present,the suburban railway generally ends at the outskirts of teh city,which needs to transfer to the urban rail transit at teh outskirts of the city for the purpose of get to the inner city.Especially during the rush hour,it will take a lot of unnecessary time and cause the great congestion to endangerThe through operation refers to the mode of transport organization that allows trains to continue from one line to another on the two or more rail transit lines connected to each other.This mode of transport organization can reduce passengers' transfer,reduce the station's risk and improve the level of service.Therefore,based on the background,this article focuses on the key technology for through operation between urban rail transit and suburban railway.The main contents of this paper includes the following aspects:(1)After study of the through operation of regional rail transit development status at home and abroad,the train of thought about the key technologies research of through operation for suburban railway and urban rail transit.(2)This paper expounded the connotation and the main classification methods of the through operation mode,and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the rail operation mode in detail.(3)The adaptation and engineering conditions for the implementation of through operation are analyzed.Through the analysis of relationships between through operation and subsystems of urban rail transit,we find civil engineering conditions and equipment conditionsrequired for implementation of through operation.We put forward different solutions and study the advantages and disadvantages of each solution.(4)optimization models are made to determine the train frequency and shared-track section for vehicle rental mode.Take the maximum benifits of passengers as optimization objective,and then LINGO is used to solve the model.(5)At last,we applied the proposed model to determine the shared-track section and train frequency,and analyzed the effect of rail through interval with the characteristics of a rail passenger flow distribution.
