With the development of wireless network technology,VANET(Vehicular Ad hoc Networks)has become the hotspot of network technology research in recent years.As a combination of Internet of Things and intelligent transportation,the Internet of Vehicles,integrates advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence,big data,and cloud computing,making a significant difference to the automotive industry and people's travel.But the Internet of Vehicles has many security problems due to its fast moving speed,short connection time and open environment,including users' privacy and other security attacks.For the safety of vehicles and people's privacy,property and life safety,these security issues must be ensured when promoting and apply the Internet of Vehicles.This thesis focused on the security issues such as user privacy.Firstly,it analyzed the network model of VANET,and the security features of VANET according to the characteristics of VANET before putting forward some security requirements for VANET.The status quo of domestic and international research on the message authentication scheme of VANET was reviewed.Using cryptography knowledge,this thesis studies the security issues of VANET in some certain occasions.To solve the security problem of user identity authentication in the Internet of Vehicles,a multi-factor authentication scheme was proposed.Based on the traditional user name,password authentication scheme,this multi-factor authentication scheme combined with user biological feature,was put forward.A security analysis was conducted to confirm that it meets the security requirements for user authentication.In view of the message authentication scheme in VANET,an efficient message authentication scheme for VANET was improved,and the security analysis of this schemewas carried out which shows that this scheme can satisfy the security requirements of VANET.The calculation overhead and communication overhead analysis were carried out.This improved solution reduced computing overhead by 85% but increased communication overhead by 16%.This thesis built a simulation environment based on OMNeT++,SUMO and Veins,and simulates the network model of the highway.Then the message authentication scheme in this thesis was simulated.The result showed that both the message loss rate and the message delay were reduced.
