With the development of society,the demand for micro power equipment is increasing rapidly.Micro turbine engines have been widely used due to their higher specific energy.As a core component of the engine,the micro combustion chamber is severely constrained in performance due to its inherently limited space for combustion.Meanwhile,additive manufacturing technology has been matured and is revolutionizing the aviation industry.The performance of key components of an aeroengine can be dramatically enhanced by carefully design of its exterior and internal structures.Therefore,this paper takes advantages of the additive manufacturing technology for innovative design of the micro combustion chamber,and studies the fuel atomization evaporation and combustion process in the combustion chamber,in order to obtain a better performance of the combustion chamber.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Combined with additive manufacturing technology,the spiral-style spoilers were applied to the vaporizing tube.A new type of vaporizing tube has been designed and analyzed by numerical simulation methods.(2)A rapid design method of micro combustion chamber was proposed,which simplifies the design process of the combustion chamber.Based on the additive design concept,three new types of micro combustion chambers with integrated combustor liner and vaporizing tubes were designed based on additive design concepts.(3)A series of studies on the performance of micro combustion chambers were conducted using numerical simulation methods.(4)An experimental platform was established and a series of tests on additive manufactured micro gas turbines were conducted.
