As a vertical transportation vehicle,the demand for elevator capacity is getting higher and higher and more complex with the emergence of smart buildings and the diversity of building types.For elevator manufacturers,there are two ways to deal with these complex needs: one is to improve the elevator's overall transport capacity in the stage of research and development,including the optimization of the elevator's group control system,the development of faster elevators,the lift of the comfort,etc;the other is to pay attention to the needs of the project in the stage of design,including the investors' demand for cost,the building designer's demand for planning,the passenger's demand for efficiency,thus can satisfy all concerned parties through reasonable elevator configuration.Whether for the research of elevator's group control system or for the analysis of elevator configuration,the actual elevator passenger traffic data needs to be used as the basis.In previous studies,a small number of literatures that have studied the optimization of elevator group control system have taken the method of collecting actual passenger traffic data by artificial statistic.This method is time-consuming and difficult to obtain on a large scale.In recent years,with the large-scale promotion of Remote Elevator Monitoring and Service System(REMSS,Remote Elevator Monitoring and Service System),it has become possible to collect traffic data that meets the requirements.The REMSS is a system that can collect and analyse the elevator's runtime data based on geographic information,computer and communication technology.Through this system,the property company can visually monitor the operation status of the elevator in the monitoring room,and the elevator company can collects the history running data of the elevator.Once the elevator breaks down,the property company,the maintenance personnel and the regulatory authorities can immediately receive the alarm and take swift measures to rescue.Through this system,the passenger traffic data of this paper can be obtained easily.The data from REMSS is the number of people entering and leaving the elevator.It is sufficient as input data for group control system optimization.However,in order to evaluate the actual elevator service capacity of the building,more detailed information about the passengers' traffic distribution is needed.To solve this problem,this paper established the passenger traffic distribution of the Maximum Entropy(ME)model,and proposes a hybrid algorithm based on Genetic Algorithm(GA)and Levenberg-Marquardt Algorithm(LMA).This method can get actual elevator passenger traffic distribution based on the data from REMSS.It can be used as the input data of the simulation model needed for the research of elevator group control system,and can also be used as the guidance data for elevator configuration.After getting the passenger traffic distribution data,this paper analyzes the elevator configuration of the project design stage through the research of elevator configuration method.On the basis of the actual passenger traffic data obtained,we can study the actual operation mode of the elevator.Based on the classification of elevator traffic operation mode,different elevator configuration methods are given.The method can also calculate the actual elevator service capability.Combined with the passenger traffic distribution data,the steps of elevator configuration planning method are explained.According to the method,we can calculated the evaluation index of elevator service capacity and put forward improvement suggestions of the elevator configuration.Examples are given to illustrate that the method can not only provide guidance for the elevator design at the early stage of the project,but also play a valuable role in the modification works of elevators or buildings in combination with the REMSS.
