Most LNG in our country is depended on import.After large LNG carriers transport the cargo to seaboard,there are many stations to receive.The main task of LNG feeders is assigning and transporting the cargo from receiving stations to energy need place.The shortage of LNG feeders and hysteresis of development are becoming more and more rigorous.Considering this situation,after analyzing the characters of LNG feeder and researching its key technology,design out the project of 12000 cbm LNG Feeder.Firstly,according to the arrangement of mother ship and the requirement of design task,make arrangement of gas tanks and accommodation,define principal particulars and form the general arrangement.Secondly,considering the limitation and requirement of general arrangement,optimize the lines and analyze the result of CFD for preliminary model to get the speed index.Thirdly,based on the general arrangement and lines,finish the freeboard calculation to confirm which norm is applicable for this ship.Make lightweight distribution and loading conditions to check its intact stability and damage stability by specified software.Then,considering the wave bending moment and shear force,design the middle ship section and check the longitudinal strength.Finally,according to the requirement of speed and electric station,select the main engine and generator.Research and develop the project of 12000 cbm LNG Feeder to form a new LNG feeder type with independent intellectual property right and international advanced level,improve internal design level of LNG feeder,fill the gap of domestic 12000 cbm LNG Feeder.
