| Lizhuang is an ancient town in Southern Sichuan with a history of thousands of years.It is located at the source of the Yangtze River and has profound cultural connotations.The town preserves the most intact Ming and Qing architectural complex in Southern Sichuan,with high artistic value and strong flavor of streets.It is a town driven by the Yangtze River and has good hydrological conditions.The people of Lizhuang who live on a mountain live off the mountain and live on a river live off the river revere and worship water.The culture of the river is deeply engraved in the marrow of the people of Lizhuang.Red culture and Gourmet culture also make Li Zhuang famous.As the ancient town urgently needs to create a national 5A scenic spot to promote the development of regional economy,the upper planning decides to renovate the old town as a whole,and the landscape renovation of the Yangtze River water front in the ancient town needs to be carried out in advance.Although the ancient town has abundant cultural resources,its current situation is disordered traffic organization,dynamic changes in hydrological conditions,backward infrastructure,uniform business in the town,which far from the goal of creating 5A scenic spot.The renewal design ranges from Tongji Avenue in the east to Kuixing Street in the west,covering an area of about 200 mu.It includes a large area of flood lands and surrounding land which disappear with the seasons.The focus of this paper is to change the existing problems by injecting regional culture into the design.This paper summarizes the research status of landscape renewal design in water front at home and abroad,clarifies the basic concepts of water front,emphatically explains the connotation of renewal design,summarizes the constituent elements of waterfront landscape,site attributes,value orientation of design,and applicable design theory,and analyses two classical cases at home and abroad and extracts their valuable contents for reference.This paper takes the riverside water front area of Lizhuang ancient town as a practical research object,obtains the basic overview of Lizhuang ancient town through on-the-spot investigation and visits,systematically summarizes the landscape characteristics of the ancient town,combs the cultural context of the ancient town,and finds out the problems and challenges faced by the renewal of the water front of the ancient town.This paper practice the renewal design of the water front of the ancient town under the guidance of the upper planning documents,takes solving practical problems as its current goal and creating 5A scenic spots as its ultimate vision.This paper re-orientates the water front from the aspects of space division,functional zoning,traffic flow line,overall design and node design,applies the concise cultural points mentioned above to the design,and implements them through scientific design means to provide impetus for the development of town area. |
