The communication steel pole is widely used in the construction of communication base stations because of its high degree of mechanization and fast construction speed,which can effectively save land occupation,shorten the construction period and save labor costs.With the integration and sharing of telecommunication infrastructure resources,the maintenance and renovation of the existing towers has become an issue that needs to be studied in depth.By maintaining and renovating the existing towers to mount new antennas or more antennas,the goal of enhancing signal coverage is achieved.Based on the extensive application back ground of communication steel pole and the development trend of telecommunication infrastructure construction,this paper takes communication steel pole as the main research object.The research content mainly includes the following three aspects: 1)Analyzing the design method and standard of communication steel pole,Choose the design criteria that apply to the review of the inventory of steel pole.2)Through the statistical analysis of 100 randomly selected communication steel pole test reports,the factors affecting the safety and reliability of the communication steel pole are studied.3)Using 3D3 S calculation software,compare the calculation parameters and results before and after the transformation of the communication steel pole,and study the transformation plan of the communication steel pole.The full text draws the following conclusions through an analytical approach combining theory with actual engineering:(1)Under the premise of structural safety,the restriction on the displacement of the top of the tower can be appropriately reduced.It is recommended to control the displacement of the top of the tower to meet the requirements of the Technical Regulations for the Single-tube Communication Tower of Steel Structures.In case of combination,the limit is not greater than 1/50.(2)Statistical analysis is carried out by extracting the test report of the communication steel pole,and the factors affecting the safety and reliability of the communication steel pole are mainly the deviation of the verticality of the tower,the secondary casting between the flange and the foundation,and the corrosion of the anchor bolt.Etc.,and put forward corresponding maintenance recommendations for each influencing factor.In addition,combined with the need for maintenance and transformation,the paper has developed a unified checklist.(3)The “tight-fitting” and “light-loading” transformation schemes can effectively improve the mounting capacity of existing steel poles.When designing and applying the communication steel pole reconstruction project,the antenna windshield area reduction factor should be determined by stakeout according to the actual mounted antenna size and position.The addition of the diagonal bracing is a feasible modification measure for the inventory of single pipe towers.The reinforcement measures are more effective for single pipe towers below 25 meters.Increasing the wall thickness can effectively increase the section strength and reduce the stress ratio,but has little effect on the top displacement.The new tower reconstruction measures can significantly improve the top displacement,and is suitable for stock steel poles with significantly insufficient displacement and high tower height.In addition,the paper presents a reinforcement scheme for a single tube tower anchor bolt.
