From the 1970 s to the 1980 s,the number of bicycles in China reached one-third of the world, and the per capita possession of bicycles was about equal to one.In the 1990 s,due to the rapid development of motorization, the number of cars traveled sharply, and motor vehicles increased everywhere. The construction of road infrastructure has occupied the bicycle lane space, causing the shrinking of the riding capacity.Since the 21 st century, the environmental pollution caused by motorized exhaust emissions and traffic congestion has seriously affected the sustainable development of the city, and the green and healthy travel concept It is advocated that the government is the first to introduce public bicycles. The rise of shared bicycles has stimulated residents' enthusiasm for cycling and increased the demand for cycling. However, bicycle lanes in many cities have been cancelled, bicycle rights have been lost, and bicycles have been forced to squeeze.Sidewalks or motorway lanes not only have serious interference with each other, but also have great potential safety hazards. In order to cope with the contradiction between the demand for bicycle travel and the reality without road rights, this paper advocates the consideration of bicycle exclusive road rights in the allocation of road space.Aiming at the shortage of bicycle special road rights and the discontinuity of bicycle road network in existing roads, this paper makes a preliminary analysis of the environmental quality and basic utilization characteristics and efficiency of different bicycle road rights allocation models by referring to the bicycle road rights protection cases at home and abroad.Combined with simulation analysis, according to the safety, continuous, convenient, comfortable and healthy bicycle lane design principle, taking Shenzhen Nanshan Science and Technology Park as an example, the optimal allocation scheme of bicycle special road rights is proposed, and the bicycle is passed through the compatibility index model(BCI model). The service level of the road was calculated.Using the road riding time and speed,as well as the average delay and queue length indicators of the intersection, the simulation analysis was carried out with Vissim 9 to verify the feasibility of the optimal allocation scheme for bicycles. In the context of advocating sustainable development and rapid urbanization, reexamining the positioning of bicycle traffic, creating a harmonious development of transportation systems, and configuring bicycle-specific road rights will help to improve the advantages of bicycle traffic in short-and medium-distance traffic.Increase the attractiveness of bicycle traffic;promote the fairness of roads with different modes of transportation, reduce traffic accidents, and enhance the vitality of the streets;help solve the last mile problem, build a “bicycle + bus” travel mode, and form a low-carbon environment.Continue to develop the transportation system.
