As a manned vehicle,the flying car has nearly a hundred years of development history.The degree of commercialized is high in Europe and America,and some products have been legalization or commercialization,while some domestic companies have got some small results,but degree of commercialized is relatively low.With the study and analysis of domestic and international flying car advantages and limitations,the new ducted VTOL flying car structure is proposed,which has strong regional adaptability.The new structure is combined with the characteristics of helicopter's large lift,medium endurance and multi rotor aircraft's high precision control.In the research process,the aerodynamic performance of ducted rotor is simulated by computational fluid dynamics(CFD).Based on the CFD method and its basic theory,the parameters of rotor and ducted are set.Through the derivation calculation of related theory and CFD numerical simulation,the aerodynamic performances of ducted single-rotor layout and ducted twin-rotor layout are analyzed respectively.And the layout of placing coaxial reversal twin-rotor in aircraft body is further determined.Based on the aerodynamic performance analysis of ducted rotor,some parts of new structure are improved,and the ducted design and the parts layout make the space usage reasonable.Through the CFD numerical simulation,each part lift in different axial flow rate,oblique flow rate and pitch angle are obtained.With the comparison of ducted VTOL flying car studied by Zou Ruhong,who comes from Xiangtan University,and the Dutch flying car Pal-V One,it shows that new structure can provide greater passenger space and energy storage space,and produce effective and reasonable lift.Besides that,the rotating speed is easier to realize,and the wind resistance of body side is also an advantage to some extent.Finally,the life performance of new structure is estimated and analyzed.Based on the power system type and the main parts selection,the life and voyage of ideal state are obtained by formula derivation and programming calculation.
