With the advent of the new industrial revolution in the 21 st century,the automotive industry continues to heat up,and Chinese car sales have been the first of world for ten consecutive years.With the increase of the number of cars,the demand for car maintenance and repair services has also increased dramatically.The car inspection industry is developing rapidly.The chassis inspection research based on 3D measurement technology has gradually entered people's field of vision.Among the 3D measurement technologies,the photoelectric inspection technology based on machine vision has become a research hot spot with its high precision,maintainability and convenience.Based on the principle of monocular vision measurement,the paper combines machine vision with chassis measurement system to develop a photoelectric vehicle chassis measurement system based on monocular vision.First of all,this paper analyzes the research status of chassis detection technology and visual measurement technology,and introduces the principles and advantages and disadvantages of various measurement systems.Then analyzes the use and advantages of visual inspection technology in the field of chassis detection,and determines the system design idea that system is based on the monocular vision measurement technology.Then,designing for the main components of the measurement system,and selected for the key hardware of the system,and design the mechanical structure and hardware part of the system.Using the modularization idea to divide the system into two parts: the visual detection module and the coordinate conversion module.For the visual inspection module,completed the key algorithm design,and completed the establishment of the visual system measurement model and the design of the key algorithm,and simulated to verify the accuracy of the module algorithm.For the coordinate conversion module,designed the coordinate conversion algorithm,and completed the simulation experiment to verify the algorithm.In order to further improve the function of the measurement system,completed the software function designing for the actual measurement requirements,and refined the specific measurement process.After the system mechanical,hardware,algorithm and software design are completed,the key components of the system are accurately calibrated to ensure the accuracy of subsequent experiments.Finally,experimentalize the two modules to perform system accuracy verification.When the measurement system is obtained within the measurement range of 2m~4m,the distance error is within 1mm,and the single point repeatability error is within 0.18 mm.Experimentalizing for the accuracy of the measurement system on the measuring spot,and carrying out the overall measurement experiment of the Volkswagen New Bora white body chassis.The experimental results show that the photoelectric vehicle chassis measurement system has good precision,meeting the chassis measurement accuracy and stability requirements,realized the chassis detection and vehicle condition evaluation.
