Provincial ecological corridors have enhanced connectivity,promoting landscape and biological flow,maintain ecological infrastructure services,to guide the provincial ecological functions such as planning,land use and development.In recent years,the rapid urban expansion results in the problem such as fragmentation of ecological space and the decline of ecological services.Therefore,it is urgent to build a provincial ecological corridor with guiding and irreplaceable characteristics to alleviate such problems.Domestic academic research and policy orientation also provide a good environment for the research and construction of ecological corridors.However,there are still some problems in method of planning provincial ecological corridors in China,which cannot be controlled and implemented.The paper conducted targeted optimization research.Traditional corridor construction methods are mostly based on the minimum cumulative resistance model,the model is usually divided into "source selection-resistance surface construction-routing identification" three-steps.It takes into account sources,sinks and biological and non-biological flow Resistance,and can be more scientific and accurate identification of ecological corridor path,but to achieve the control and implementation of provincial ecological corridor for land and space,there are still some problems that need to further optimize and promote:(1)There are great subjective factors in source selection,resistance value determination and width selection;(2)There is some redundancy in the corridor routing identified;(3)It cannot fits with the land use planning and it’s difficult to build and manage.In order to solve the above problems and realize the space control function of provincial ecological corridor.In this paper,the traditional MCR model is optimized by building a comprehensive evaluation factor system,combining the number of edge media and land use factors,optimize the traditional MCR model,and building new model——MCR-IEL,it can be targeted to improve the traditional method:(1)The influencing factors of provincial ecological corridor function are screened from three aspects of spatial pattern,network structure and ecological service.It builds a comprehensive index system to reduce the influence of subjective factors in MCR model.(2)The backbone part of the route identified by MCR method is extracted based on the number of edges in the corridor,and the conceptual planning of the provincial ecological corridor is completed.(3)The ecological corridor width is calculated based on land use factors with the guiding idea of "integration of multiple regulations",so that it can fit with land use planning and other control planning.Finally,the transition from conceptual planning to control detailed planning is completed,and the control of provincial land and space by ecological corridor is realized.The study proposes the MCR-IEL model,which optimizes the "subjective,redundant and conceptual" problem of MCR model used in the construction of the provincial ecological corridors,It provides a more scientific and concise method model to guide the construction of provincial ecological corridor.It verifies the scientific and feasibility of the MCR-IEL model by identifying the backbone routing of Guangdong province and constructing the irreplaceable provincial ecological corridor.And the optimization strategy was put forward by analyzing the distribution characteristics of the ecological corridor.By analyzing the distribution characteristics of the ecological corridor in the province,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy of "balancing the distribution of ecological sources within the province and paying attention to the ecological restoration of the building land accumulation area".The study provides a reference and demonstration for the construction of ecological corridors at provincial and similar scales in China.It also provides theoretical supplement and practical verification for the perfection of ecological corridor construction method system.
