Abstract/Summary:
As the energy source of electric vehicles,the performance of power batteries is significantly affected by working temperature,so it is necessary to control the working temperature of power batteries.It is a new type of temperature control method to cool and heat power battery by liquid runner temperature control plate.This paper carries out a research on the performance and test method of the temperature control plate,the influence of structure and working fluid parameters on the characteristics of temperature control plate was studied by numerical simulation,a test method of temperature control plate was proposed and a corresponding test device was developed,and the performance of temperature control plate was tested by the test device.The main content of this paper is as follows:Firstly,the flow characteristics,heat transfer characteristics and structural strength of three kinds of temperature control plates with different channel structures were analyzed by means of numerical simulation and suggestions on the structure design of temperature control plate were given.The influence of working fluid flow rate and temperature on cooling or heating effect of power battery was simulated and analyzed.The influence of pure water working liquid,glycol working liquid and kerosene working liquid on the heat transfer of battery was analyzed.Secondly,a temperature control plate test device was designed and developed.The overall scheme of the test system was designed,the components were selected,and the human-computer interaction interface was compiled based on the analysis of the working principle and system design index of the temperature control plate.The control of working fluid temperature and flow rate and the measurement of working fluid pressure,temperature and flow rate at the inlet and outlet of the temperature control plate are realized in the device.The results show that the test device meet the design requirements.Finally,the performance of the temperature control plate provided by a company was tested by the test device.The relationship between flow resistance and flow rate,heat transfer rate and heat transfer coefficient of the temperature control plate and working fluid flow rate and inlet temperature was obtained.The rationality of the simulation results was verified by the test results.Finally,the optimal operating parameters of the temperature control plate were given.
