The exploitation of marine resources develops rapidly.As an important part of marine platform,the heave plate is becoming an important topic that attracts scholars from all over the world.Under this background,the paper used large eddy simulation method in calculating the oscillating motion of the Spar platform with a heave plate.After the first step that verifying the reliability of the numerical simulation method,we paid the most attention to calculate the hydrodynamic coefficients of the heave plate.Finally found out the laws that the number and the diameter ratio of heave plate and platform column are proportional to the damping coefficient.And the hydrodynamic coefficient of the heave plate with different thickness-todiameter ratio should be divided into two categories to discuss.On this basis,we observed a large number of the flow fields of the heave plate with different parameters and found out that the flow fields could be divided into three types:interactive,independent,reciprocal.It all depends on the number and the diameter ratio.Further more,the boundary of the three flow fields is discussed briefly.In the end of this paper,the empirical formula of the dimensionless damping coefficient is summed up according to the different vortex modes... |
