Motorcycle is a portable and efficient personal vehicle.Recent years,its security improved significantly due to technology advancement and safety standard improvement worldwide.Both the traffic accidents involving motorcycles,and people killed or injured in accidents declined steadily in numbers.As the 1980 s “Motorcycle Ban” expiring,numbers new opportunity emerge in the domestic industry.In this context,heavy demands generated among many sectors of industrial chain.Such as motorcycle manufacturer R&D investment,after-marketing motorcycle customization,etc.This paper aims to design a practical,visual and reliable simulation system.Enable user to simulate different types of motorcycle brake and steering stability under road test,and output a reasonable evaluation of synthetical performance.First,the author establishes 2 models: 1.dynamical model to test braking performance under virtual experiment condition;2.dynamical model to test steering stability performance under virtual experiment condition.Then illustrate the ration and structure of brake,ABS controller,steering system).Select appropriate corresponding tire dynamical model and add these to dynamical model.Finally produced kinetic differential equations for this simulation.Second,the author design a braking,steering stability performance simulation testing program in accordance with the national standard(GB 20073-2018 —Motorcycle and moped braking performance requirements and test methods,and GB/T 15028-2008—Motorcycle and moped handling stability terminology).This simulation could output:1.test result curve;2.related parameters.These could combine assist users in property evaluation.Finally,the author develops this program on Microsoft Visual C++ platform.Based on the settled the program main structure,he composes the subfunction in each model,differential equation calculating method and processing computer code.These combine to form this simulation.Also,to illustrate the usage of simulation,he uses a case in testing the braking and steering stability for certain typed motorcycle.This simulation would assist users in evaluate braking and steering stability intuitively as well as accurately.
