In recent years,BIM technology has been rapidly developed and widely used.However,BIM technology is rarely used in the field of bridge engineering,especially in the operation and maintenance stage.The main reasons for that are the difficulties in integrating disease information into the established BIM model and cooperating between designing software and structural analysis software.In order to achieve the tracking description of the mechanical performance with BIM technology in the operation and maintenance stage of the bridge,the steel truss girder was taken as an example in this thesis.The difficulty in integrating the disease information into the BIM model and the cooperation between the BIM design software and the structural analysis software have been taken into consideration.Research was carried out to try to build a feasible path to apply BIM technology to the operation and maintenance stage of steel truss to realize the tracking description of mechanical performance.This thesis mainly focuses on the following researches:(1)The development of BIM technology and its development status in bridge engineering were sorted out,and the characteristics of existing BIM modeling software and BIM structural analysis software were summarized;(2)The significance of creating BIM parametric model was discussed,and the method to create a parametric BIM model through Revit family with a case of steel truss beam was introduced.(3)Through the finite element software,the effects of cracks with different positions,lengths,depths and angles on the mechanical properties of steel truss beams are analyzed and compared.(4)Through the finite element software,the corrosion diseases with different positions,lengths,widths and depths are considered,and their influence on the mechanical properties of steel truss beams are analyzed and compared.(5)The method of integrating the disease information such as cracks and corrosion into the BIM model is implemented by developing program with the tool of Revit API;(6)A modified finite element model based on BIM model damage information is established,and the influence of damage on the mechanical properties of the whole structure is analyzed from the perspective of a single component.Through the above researches,the damage influence of crack and corrosion on the I-shaped rod member of steel truss beam is summarized.The method of integrating cracks and corrosion information in the operation and maintenance stage of steel truss beam into BIM model is realized in this thesis,and the tracking method of structural mechanical property degradation through the damage information integrated into BIM model is described.A feasible path for the application using BIM technology to track the degradation of mechanical properties during the operation and maintenance stage of steel bridges is provided.
