Chemical milling is an important technology for weight reduction in the field of aircraft manufacturing,with the continuous development of aircraft manufacturing technology,the size of the chemical milling parts become bigger and bigger,most of the parts are designed for multi-step chemical milling and complex chemical areas.In the traditional process of chemical milling,there is no suitable protection technology for cutting line,the multi-step chemical milling process is basically divided into several single-cutting and single chemical milling,which is not only inefficient in production,but also is prone to error accumulation,leakage erosion and other defects or quality problems;especially in recent years,the technology of NC laser cutting and flexible fixture system has been introduced,it replaces the traditional template positioning and manual line cutting methods partly,it's an application of numerical control technology in surface treatment field,it should be avoided error accumulation caused by repeated clamping and positioning,so it's an urgent need to finish the NC laser line cutting at one time before multiple-step chemical milling.So,it has the important practical significance to research the process parameters of laser cutting and the application of wire sealant.First of all,the paper studied the process parameters of cutting laser,by adjusting the different setting parameters of the laser system,to compare the protection effect for the laser cutting line of AC-850 glue in different laser condition,the purpose is to make sure that the aluminum alloy matrix is not damaged while cutting AC-850 chemical milling protective glue,to select the best laser process parameters.The paper carried out several cutting experiments by adjusting the laser cutting rate V,the multiplier control factor K,the parameter F of laser control box,to analyze the effect of laser cutting line by microscopy,in the end to get the conclusion.Finally,the optimal range of laser process parameters is determined V:10000mm/min;K:0.5-1.0;F:0.35-0.4.Then,the paper studied the line seal process about cutting by laser or by manual.By using tape seal and line sealant product apply to the chemical protective,to observe the protective effect and get the result.The experiments show that thetape seal has no good sealing property;about line sealant,the paper used several line sealant products such as AC-807,AC-WB,AC-811,pre-sealant to make some chemical protection experiment in different chemical milling depth and different cutting methods,the experiments show that the AC-811 line sealant has good protection effect in 4mm step difference of multi-step chemical milling;when the mixture ratio of AC-807 & Toluene is 1:1,the mixed line sealant has good protection effect in 1.5mm step difference of multi-step chemical milling by manual cutting.Finally,the paper studied the application of AC-811 and AC-807& Toluene line sealant in production,to study the daub requirements,the drying time,the time interval between daubing,to work out the limit adaptive capacity.The experiments show that it's a tedious work to apply AC-807& Toluene to production and there is the limit of 1.5mm step difference,the adaptive capacity of AC-807& Toluene is general;the AC-811's adaptive capacity is very good,it can meet the protective requirements of most multi-step chemical milling.
