The construction of underground tunnels has expanded the spatial structure of the city, but it also poses a certain degree of threat to the existing buildings of the city.Taking urban excavation tunnels as an example, tunnel construction causes surrounding surface deformation, which may affect the safety, function and appearance of adjacent buildings. In order to avoid accidents and reduce economic losses,it is necessary to conduct research in identification and control technology of the risks of adjacent buildings in tunnels.Based on the tunnel construction of the second phase of the Jinan Shunhe Elevated Project, this paper studies the influence of tunnel construction on adjacent buildings through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, and proposes a plan for building risk control. The main research contents of this paper are as follows.(1)The main calculation methods of surface settlement caused by tunnel construction is introduced, and the influence forms and characteristics of urban underground tunnel construction on ground buildings is summarized.(2)Based on the actual project, the finite element software Ansys is utilized to establish a three-dimensional model of the tunnel-soil-building considering the interaction between the three parts. The construction sequence of shallow burying and undercutting tunnel is simulated by the up-and-down step method. The settlement of the ground surface during the tunnel construction process and the influence of the building are analyzed. The settlement of the building under the conditions of different tunnel burial depth and adjacent distance is discussed.(3)A risk control system for buildings during tunnel construction is established.Through carrying out risk identification and assessment for existing adjacent buildings, corresponding risk control and risk tracking measures are adopted during tunnel construction phase.
