At present,with the global energy consumption increases year by year,emissions of carbon dioxide also increased year by year.Every year,twenty five percent of global carbon emissions is from vehicle exhaustion,thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions is the common trend of all countries around the world,research,development and promotion of new energy vehicles has become the inevitable direction of future automotive industry development.The vertical integration of industry chain has the functions of reducing external transaction costs,reducing market restrictions,realizing synergies,accelerating knowledge innovation,technology upgrading and improving resource allocation.The development of modern enterprises cannot be separated from the industrial chain and survive alone.The vertical integration of the industrial chain is conducive to exploring the core competitiveness of enterprises,obtaining the driving force for future development and laying solid foundation for the long-term improvement of enterprises.Therefore,this paper analyzes and evaluates the performance of the implementation of the new energy automobile industry chain vertical integration strategy through the research on this strategy,therefore provides some references and suggestions for the implementation of it for other related enterprises.This paper is generally divided into seven parts,the first is the introduction of background and research innovation,shortcomings of this paper;Then comes the literature review,which mainly includes three aspects: the strategic motivation,the influencing factors,and the strategic effects of the vertical integration of the industry chain.The third part defines relevant theories and concepts,such as industry,industrial chain,integration of industrial chain,vertical integration of industrial chain,strategy and strategic performance,and classical theories related to vertical integration strategy,such as transaction cost theory etc.The fourth part is the method and system construction of the industry chain vertical integration strategy analysis and performance evaluation of new energy automobile;The fifth part introduces the basic case of BYD and the details and processes of the implementation of its strategy,etc.The sixth part is the performance evaluation of BYD's industry chain vertical integration strategy.Combining with the strategy performance evaluation system established in the fourth part,the performance evaluation of BYD's implementation of industry chain vertical integration strategy over the years is analyzed and evaluated using event research method and balanced scorecard.In the end,this paper concludes the implementation of the new energy automobile industry chain vertical integration strategy through the above research,including the advantages and risks of the vertical integration strategy of the new energy automobile industry chain,as well as the suggestions on the implementation of the strategy for new energy automobile enterprises.Through the above analysis,this paper concluded the new energy automotive industry chain vertical integration has its advantages and disadvantages,the advantage is that it can reduce the transaction cost of enterprises,improve market share and profit,promote enterprise technology innovation,the disadvantages are the risk of operation diversification,risk of product quality control,and higher risk with the industrial chain periodic fluctuation.Therefore,this paper concludes,if the new energy automotive industry chain enterprises to implement the strategy of vertical integration,they should pay attention to improve the ability of integration after the merger and acquisition,adjust and change the means of the strategy implementation and focus on the changing trend of the industry chain,in order to reduce the risk and realize the stable development in the future.
