Compared with the traditional titanium fan blade,composite fan blades are characterized by light weight,high efficiency,low noise and outstanding designability.They also have strong flutter resistance and damage resistance to foreign objects,excellent anti bird impact performance and low maintenance cost.Therefore,the fan blade of the composite material represents the development direction of the fan blade technology.In this dissertation,the composite fan blade is studied from three aspects: the ply design,the manufacturing and the finite element analysis.First of all,according to the relevant composite design guidelines,a structural ply design process of the composite fan blade is established.The ply design of the composite fan blade is divided into the blade section and dovetail section based on the shape characteristics of the fan blade.The ply design methods of the both sections are studied based on the software Fibersim.Integrated the ply design methods of the both sections,the entire ply design of a certain type of fan blade is done,which lays the foundation for the subsequent manufacturing and finite element analysis.Then,the trial manufacture of the composite fan blade is completed.The main problems in the process of manufacture are analyzed,and the manufacturing process is optimized.Visual inspection and 3D scanning are used to check the machining quality.The actual single layer curing thickness of prepreg is calculated by measuring the thickness of multiple composite laminates,which is convenient for subsequent optimization design.Finally,aiming at composite wide-chord fan blade,a finite element modeling method is established based on the Fibersim/ANSYS software platform.The finite element modeling of the fan blade is completed by using this method.And the modal simulation analysis is accomplished.Compared with the experimental results,the maximum error of the first four natural frequencies is just 6.6%,which proves that the finite element model built by this method has high reliability and meets the subsequent calculation requirements,and can provide reference for the optimization design of the composite fan blade.
