With the further development of China's urbanization,the aggregation of urban population caused a growing number of big cities facing the threat of traffic congestion and other "big city disease".As the representative of the public transport,rail transit thus becomes an important way to solve this problem,and also undertakes an increasingly large share of the traffic rate.Currently,as urban rail accidents occurs frequently,research to improve the reliability and safe operation of rail traffic is necessary.First,based on complex network theory,the statistical feature and network vulnerability of Shanghai rail transit is analyzed.Compared with four global urban rail transit network,the defects and shortcomings in terms of network topology can be found.Subsequently,based on the existing network vulnerability studies,this paper improves rail network vulnerability index with s consideration of OD traffic and rail failure modes,and Shanghai rail network is as an example to verify the validity of the index.Finally,according to the characteristics of the actual construction of urban rail transit network,this paper proposes optimization method to optimize rail transit design,and establishes a multi-objective optimization model of urban rail transit,the main target is network vulnerability,the secondary objectives are other factors such as construction costs/population coverage/travel distance.The Tabu search algorithm is chosen as the method to solve the optimization model.In order to verify the effectiveness and reliability of the optimization model,this paper choses Pudong New District rail network as an example.The results indicate that,considering network vulnerability during planning stage is feasible,and greatly improves the safety and reliability of the rail network,which has important practical significance.
