With the progress and development of science and technology,liquid crystal instrument has gradually been favored and recognized by people.However,LCD instruments in the market have various styles and complex functions.Whether the appearance design of the instruments is efficient,stable and safe is still lack of research,which has an invisible impact on driver's visual efficiency and driving safety.Considering the increasing pursuit of safety,efficiency and pleasantness of motorcycle instruments by motorcycle users,design and research are carried out to improve the visual reading efficiency and accuracy of motorcycle instruments.This article is mainly based on the customer's visual angle.The first step is to analyze the principle of human vision through the mechanism of eye vision acceptance,investigate the human visual distance,visual angle and the best placement content of each visual area,and obtain the calculation formula of visual range.At the same time,the stimulating intensity of light wavelength on the eyeball and the psychological effects of various colors on human beings are analyzed,which paves the way for the subsequent spatial layout.The second step is to produce functional requirements questionnaire,which is distributed by regional 4S stores to understand market users' demand for various functions of the instrument,and selectively use LCD screen,indicator light and mechanical disk to maximize the display efficiency of each function.The third step is to investigate and refer to the design style of all kinds of mainstream motorcycle brand meters in the market,and combine the overall style of their own models to design a unique style of outline shape.At the same time,using ergonomics,reasonable design of LCD display content,tachometer graphics scheme and the spatial layout of various indicators,preliminary design of instrument modelling scheme in line with human visual information.The fourth step is to compare and analyze the reading efficiency and accuracy of the display information content of the instrument with those of the market instrument by designing the visual reading reaction speed experiment,analyze the average and standard deviation of the reaction time,judge the merits and demerits of the instrument design scheme and optimize the design scheme.Fifth,when choosing the components of the design scheme,the stability,reliability and visual optimality of the components are taken into account to analyze and select.After defining the physical scheme,the sample is further analyzed by experiment.Finally,the test and determination scheme of the sample is achieved.All the papers focus on the maximization of visual efficiency,and find the key points and characteristics that affect visual efficiency.Market research and questionnaire survey try to collect different age groups,driving ages and occupational groups,so as to make the data more complete.Visual experiment simulates real road condition test,through the analysis of mean,variance and standard deviation formula,the authenticity of experimental data is greatly improved.The determination of design scheme also provides ideas and directions for future instrument diversification design.
