After the completion of the construction of the ship,the accurate data of the ship’s propulsion performance,including the shaft power,torque and speed at each run,are obtained whether the ship’s performance meets the requirements of the indicators.Due to ship in the process of trial will suffer the interference of external environment and their own factors like the wind,wave and current,which make the trial data are not recorded contract provisions under the condition of sea trial data,that’s the definition of speed correction.We correct the resistance of the wind,wave and current,and forecast the contract under the condition of the ship performance data.In order to obtain the ideal speed correction results,this paper makes an in-depth study of BSRA,ISO15016 and STA-JIP speed correction methods,and does the following work:(1)BSRA(British Ship Research Association),ISO15016(International Organization for Standards)series and STA-JIP(Sea Trial Analysis Joint Industry Project)speed correction method correction process are introduced,including the applicable scope of speed standards,environmental requirements at the early stage of trial,operational requirements of test,speed correction and calculation process.Comprehensive analysis of various influencing factors is made;(2)Research and analyze ship model tests related to speed correction,including open water test,resistance test,self-propulsion test and variable load test.Provide ship model test data and trial measurement data of a 300,000-ton tanker;(3)Analyze and study the wind,wave and current of BSRA,ISO15016 series and STAJIP speed correction methods respectively,including the environmental requirements and calculation methods.Conduct wind,wave and current correction calculation with the ship model and trial data of a 300,000-ton tanker,and analyze the correction results of wind,wave and current calculation with different speed correction methods;(4)Compare the correction principles,contents and results of BSRA,ISO15016 series and STA-JIP speed correction methods,and obtain the advantages and disadvantages of different speed correction methods and their applicable environmental conditions;(5)Use C# language to program ISO15016-2002 speed correction method with the most extensive range and the ISO15016-2015 speed correction method with the most widely used at the present stage,so as to reduce the working time and workload of speed correction,and use examples to verify the program results,so as to provide references for the improvement of the program.
