Study On The Factors Affecting Urban Shrinkage And Planning Strategies In Shuangyashan City

From the end of the 20 th century to the beginning of the 21 st century,with many declining vitalities such as de-industrialization,suburbanization,aging,and socioeconomic transformation,many countries and regions have experienced different degrees of contraction,especially in resource-exhausted cities.At present,under the constraints of a single development structure,the resource-exhausted cities in Northeast China have shown a “compromise” attitude,and there is a contradiction between the severe contraction and the inefficient urban transformation.At present,the research on the contraction of resource-exhausted cities focuses on the identification of contracted cities and the measurement of population change.There are few studies that clarify the causes,evolution,general characteristics and the reasons for the changes in the characteristics of the contraction.Therefore,this paper takes Shuangyashan City,a typical resourceexhausted city,as the research object,aiming to sort out the influencing factors,main components and management ideas of the contraction,and to explain the reasons for the contraction of Shuangyashan City.Based on the time series from 2000 to 2015,combined with the urban profile,evolution and natural conditions of Shuangyashan City,this paper sorts out the cities of Shuangyashan City from five different dimensions: urban population change,economic change,land use change,resource and environmental changes and facility service changes.The characterization of shrinkage,and on this basis,sort out the current situation of the development of Shuangyashan City.The study refines the indicators of urban contraction in Shuangyashan City and constructs a multidimensional system of contraction factors.Based on the principal component analysis method,the influencing factors of urban contraction in Shuangyashan City were reduced and converged.According to the contribution characteristics of the dataset,three main component types that affect the contraction of Shuangyashan City were extracted.Through the analysis and interpretation of the contraction principal component,this paper divides the main components of the contraction influencing factors of Shuangyashan City into “the economy is still depressed but the energy consumption continues to increase”,“the urban infrastructure continues to develop but the space quality is low”,“the urban population loss” But the land is disorderly expanded "three categories.The macro-control measures are taken for the three types of principal components,and the multi-dimensional coping strategies and management strategies for the factors affecting the contraction are deeply studied and the ideas of contraction governance are clarified.Through the analysis and interpretation of the characteristics of the contracted main component clusters in Shuangyashan City,it is combined with the implementation of the contraction management of Shuangyashan City to lay the foundation for subsequent research and governance.At the same time,try to explain the reasons for the contraction and evolution of resource-exhausted cities,so as to play a reference for the planning of future contraction cities and the guidance of governance.
