The biggest sales FR MPV in the domestic car market,the user feedback the issues "rear axle noise","rear axle howling" and so on which related to the issue of rear axle main reducing gear.To resolve customer complaints,enhance vehicle ride quality and NVH performance;improve the market competitiveness of the product,special issue to establish this research project.First of all,dismantle and analysis the parts on the failure rear axle,statistics and classification the faults,and thus accurate position the user complained Symptom which the "howling on the final drive".Secondly,test the noise and vibration of the failure car,collect the objective data and then,dismantling and analysis the breakdown vehicle,find out the root causes of the problem.Then use exhaustive method to improve the parameters of the gear and stiffness of the final drive housing,and then use the computer software to simulate the actual operating conditions of the part,and computational analysis the improved program,and ultimately find the best solution for sample production and loading testing and validation,the final test results show that the improved scheme effectively solve the "howling on the final drive" problem.
