With the quick development of Chinese cities,the amount of construction wastes is also increasing rapidly,which becomes a major disturbance in the process of urban development.If we could use construction wastes as the filling material for subgrade construction,then we could save sand and other natural material which is unrecycled,we could also make the utilization of wastes,which has significant economic and social benefits.For the time being.China lacks systematic research on the application of construction waste used in subgrade packing.In this paper,construction waste filling subgrade is taken as the research object.Numerical simulation of discrete element and practical study of test section is used as the tool to investigate the object.This paper studies the construction technology quality and quality control method of building subgrade by construction wastes systematically and obtains the following achievements:(1)PFC2D software is used to simulate the compression deformation process of construction wastes in one dimension.According to the test,the relationship between the compression deformation and the particle breakage is revealed.The microstructure change mechanism of the compression deformation process is analyzed.From the microscopic point of view,the force mode and the broken form of the particle breakage are also analyzed.The effect of the material parameter values on the compression deformation is systematically studied and analyzed.(2)The discrete element model is used to simulate the compacting process of the subgrade under roller vibration load.The motion law of the material,the compaction mechanism and the compaction characteristic of the subgrade are analyzed.The law of settlement in the rolling process is also analyzed.Particle size analysis is done for particles after the compaction process and the particle size distribution conforms to fractal characteristics.(3)Based on engineering practice on the experiment section,the composition of building waste materials is analyzed.Based on the actual situation on the field and material characteristics,the construction process and construction method of construction waste subgrade are determined.The standard and control method of construction quality are determined.The settlement and particle size distribution after the completion of the subgrade construction are statistically analyzed.
