Loess is a kind of special soil with special characteristics,which is widely distributed in Shanxi Province.Most of the roads in Shanxi Province pass through the loess region.Due to the lack of carrying capacity,there are many diseases,which damage the traffic infrastructure,causing traffic interruption and loss of life and property.Loess has its unique properties,which will adversely affect the bearing capacity of the foundation.Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate the bearing capacity of the loess foundation by studying the characteristics of the loess.Based on the investigation,statistics and analysis of various kinds of loess in Shanxi Province,this paper puts forward the foundation bearing capacity calculation formula suitable for highway construction.Studies the theoretical calculation and indoor analysis,data statistics,the technical route of combining field and by reference to the relevant areas and the research achievements of the industry,carries on the regression analysis by SPSS statistical software,and the microstructure of loess characteristics are studied,and based on the related engineering,statistical analysis,the bearing capacity of loess formula is verified,and obtained the following results:1,according to the existing Chinese collapsible loess engineering geological zoning sketch"big frame,?1 area from north to south across the distance is longer,climate change is bigger,large difference of soil change,so the engineering geological zoning?1 area from north to south is divided into three area:area,namely?1-1?1-2 area and?1-3 area.?1-1area in the north of shanxi,mainly including YanBei region;?1-2 in central shanxi area;?1-3area in south shanxi area.2.Collect the data of highway engineering loess:the main physical indexes of loess and the bearing capacity of foundation in situ load test.According to different zones and through software analysis,the multiple linear regression formula of bearing capacity of loess foundation is put forward.Through highway engineering construction,the applicability of the relevant formula in the corresponding partition is proved,and the linear regression equation can be used to guide highway engineering design and construction.3.Shanxi loess has specific basic characteristics in its microstructure.Its microstructure units are connected by contact and cementation,and there are many types of pores.4,?2 Q2,Q3 loess on different influence factors of linear analysis of bearing capacity of malan loess and lishi loess and water content,liquid limit and void ratio or the plastic limit and void ratio of the unified formula of linear regression and compared with the measured bearing capacity analysis.Area of?1-1,?1-2 area,?1-3 area of the loess with different linear analysis of influencing factors,respectively,it is concluded that malan loess and bearing capacity of lishi loess with water content,liquid limit and void ratio or the plastic limit and independent linear regression formula of void ratio,and compared with the measured bearing capacity analysis.5.The accuracy of the evaluation method of bearing capacity of loess foundation is verified through field in situ test and laboratory test,and through engineering practice and referring to relevant data.
