Corrugated steel web composite box girder is a new steel-concrete composite structure with corrugated steel webs instead of traditional concrete webs.It has a lot of advantages,such as: light weight,good seismic-resistance performance,web-crack-avoiding performance,high prestressing efficiency,and convenient construction.In recent years,it has been employed in more and more projects.This corrugated steel web composite box girder was employed in the construction of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Bridge,which is a part of the construction project of the No.344 provincial highway in the Pizhou section.Based on this consulting project,a comparative analysis was conducted for the static,dynamic characteristics,and seismic response of the long-span corrugated steel web composite box girder bridge and the PC continuous box girder bridge.It will provide a reference for the design of such bridges in the future.The main content of this article is as follows:1.The cross-section characteristics of the two structures were compared,and the differences between beam height and section stiffness of two structures were studied.By comparing the two construction methods,prestressing configuration,internal force and stress under various load conditions,the advantages and disadvantages of the large span corrugated web box girder are studied.2.The theoretical basis of the dynamic characteristics of the bridge structure is studied.The two bridge types of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Bridge are the subjects of this study,which are the corrugated steel web composite box girder bridge and the PC continuous box girder bridge.The finite element analysis software was employed to analyze the dynamic characteristics and the results were compared.3.Response spectrum method was used to analyze the seismic responses of the two types of bridges of corrugated steel web composite box girder bridges and PC continuous box girder bridges,and their seismic responses were compared and analyzed.In general,corrugated steel web composite box girder has better seismic performance than PC continuous box girder.
