With the continuous improvement of the social and economic level,people's demand for electric load is gradually increasing.The intelligent substation using advanced intelligent technology can greatly improve the reliability of power grid operation,simplify personnel and save materials,meet the needs of social development,and optirmize the structure of smart grid.Therefore,the construction of intelligent substation is imperative.In order to improve the quality of power supply and alleviate the load pressure in Xi'an,it is proposed to design a 110kV Smart Substation for the south of Gaoxin area.The primary system and the secondary system are taken as two important directions to carry out the design and give the scheme to realize the intellectualization.Analyzing and calculating the basic data of power grid,choosing suitable standard electrical equipment to complete the primary system structure design.This paper analyses and investigates the current demand of power grid,and completes the design of,secondary system structure by using optical fiber communication,assembling reliable relay protection device,communication equipment and intelligent auxiliary control device.In order to realize the intellectualized operation of the substation as a whole,building a"three layers and two nets"structure as the basis to solve the implementation problems of each part in turn.Considering the practicability,the function of the primary intelligent device is configurated concretely.The concept of"virtual terminal"is introduced to construct information transmission channel and realize communication between devices.At the same time,SCD configuration tool is used to make all intelligent devices form a complete automation system,and the device is configured and debugged,so as to achieve the goal of intelligent operation of Gaoxinnan Substation.The design process of the whole substation follows the unified IEC61850 protocol to ensure the synchronization of the substation.The design meets the requirements of smart grid construction,realizes the high integration of electrical equipment,digitizes the sampling information in situ,avoids the use of a large number of cable consumables,and can reduce the operation and maintenance costs,which is practical for the construction of smart substations.
