With the development of grid interconnection and HVDC transmission,new requirements for power system simulation software are put forward.The larger scale power system data storage is mostly electromechanical transient simulation software format,however,the electromechanical transient simulation software cannot reflect the electromagnetic transient process of the system.In order to solve this problem,the conversion method of electromechanical transient simulation software PSASP to electromagnetic transient simulation software ATP-EMTP is studied in this paper,and applying the automatic conversion system to the actual grid,the efficiency of model conversion has improved.For small-scale power system models,the component features and model parameters of electromechanical transient simulation software PSASP and electromagnetic transient simulation software ATP-EMTP are compared and analyzed in this paper.After selecting the appropriate model,the mathematic conversion relationship is studied separately for the corresponding parameters and non-corresponding parameters in the same component model of the two software.And taking the 3 machine 9-node network and extended 30-node network as examples,the electrical parameter conversion theory of each component is verified by comparing the results of power flow calculation and short-circuit calculation of the network model in PSASP and ATP-EMTP.For larger scale power system models,the process of manually building a model is complex and prone to errors.To solve this problem,this paper deeply studies the input data forms of PSASP and ATP-EMTP,by using the ATP-EMTP visual input text and data card,an automatic conversion system from PSASP to ATP-EMTP is constructed,which consists of four modules:node renaming,effective network data selection,corresponding data conversion,and data writing and modeling.And the solutions of the problems related to theFinally,the electromagnetic transient model of Shaanxi network are established in ATP-EMTP.The accuracy of the model is verified by the power flow calculation and short circuit calculation in the AC system.For the DC system,the characteristics of the control model TACS and MODELS in ATP-EMTP are compared and analyzed,it is proposed to control the converter valve with a more flexible MODELS control model.The simulation results are more suitable with the actual operation of the line.It is proved that the automatic conversion system proposed in this paper can be applied to the actual power system...
