With the development of Marine resources in the direction of deep sea and the development and application of various new floating production systems,Marine engineering will face more problems related to the cooperative operation among adjacent structures of multiple floating bodies.In some sea conditions,the interaction between floating structures with multiple floating bodies will seriously affect the safety and stability of offshore operations.In this paper,the Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)technique and Volume of Fluid(Volume of Fluid)method are applied to research the coupling effect between floating structures and mooring systems in both sides with the help of CFD STAR-CCM +.The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the background of topic selection,this paper analyzes the problems involved in the operation of the adjacent structure of multiple floating bodies.The research status,research methods and development trend of the hydrodynamic disturbance of multi-floating bodies at home and abroad are comprehensively reviewed and analyzed,and the research method of this subject is determined.(2)An analytical model of coupling effect between three-dimensional floating structure and mooring system is established.When wave building is verified to be feasible,the wave height of wave monitoring points set between narrow cracks is calculated numerically,and the obtained results are compared with existing literatures to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the simulation method.(3)The effects of wave length and wave direction on the coupling between the floating structure and the mooring system on both sides are studied respectively,the wave surface elevation between the narrow joints of the floating structure on both sides and the mooring force are calculated,and the motion and force of the floating body under different waves are compared and analyzed.It is found that the influence of different wavelengths on the adjacent floating body is smaller than that of different wave directions,and it is concluded that the oscillations of narrow slit flow field are much larger than those of other two operating conditions.(4)By the calculation is analyzed by different spacing and different ways of mooring floating structure on both sides by the influence of floating mooring system structure,respectively from the floating body movement,mooring force and wave rise in three aspects,this paper compares and analyzes different spacing of the different ways of mooring more influence on both sides by floating structures.
