China is a leading country in the world of information industry,and the virtual reality industry has great potential for development.Coupled with the continuous growth of China’s economy and the improvement of people’s living standard in recent years,the number of private cars is increasing,and the demand for driving training is huge.In order to solve the problems of traditional driving training,such as limited field,non standardized teaching,high cost,long cycle and other issues,so that trainees can finish driving training more safely and efficiently,an open and sustainable form of driving training has become an object of extensive research.The existing virtual driving training system pays more attention to the realization of functions,and has limited exploration of user interface,therefore,In combination with cognitive psychology,the application value of virtual reality technology in motor vehicle driving training is studied as follows:1.Based on the analysis of vehicle driving training outline and related literature,the overall analysis and design of each module are carried out according to the related contents and requirements of driving training,and the overall target,the frame flow of the program and key technologies of the system are put forward accordingly.Then,based on the overall design of the system,we studied and analyzed the application of model simplification technology and collision detection technology,as well as the construction of scenes,sound effects and special effects.The camera control,vehicle control,sound effect,interface and prompting function are implemented by using C# object oriented programming language with Unity3 D development platform.Through the discussion of the performance optimization of the scene,this paper proposes the optimization design of the system memory by using the principle and method of the object pool technology.By writing the corresponding code,the nodes are used to dynamically generate instantiated objects in the scene.2.After the analysis and research of human-computer interface based on cognitive psychology,the design strategies for color highlighting and strengthening mechanism of interface oriented visual elements of UI layout are proposed,to ensure that users get good immersive in the driving experience.Using situated learning theory to guide the design of user interface,in order to improve the usability of the system.3.The virtual driving training system is integrated.The system is equipped with virtual reality helmets and the steering wheel assembly of Logitech G29,which realizes the steeringand motion functions of vehicles during the scene running,as well as other interface commands,such as pause,start and exit programs.4.Finally in user experience evaluation stage,the survey and research are carried out from two main aspects of system testing and evaluation.Accomplished the analysis of the test and questionnaires survey of the user experience,according to the comprehensive analysis of SUS scores after the test based on user experience feedback,compared with the design goal of the system,to verify the effectiveness and the feasibility of the training system.
