Every trip of the traveler starts and ends with walking,as well as the connection between different modes of transportation.Walking is an essential part of every trip and an important part of the modern urban transport system.And with the acceleration of urbanization in recent years,the urbanization rate has been significantly improved.Large-scale public facilities such as transportation hubs,shopping centers,stadiums,and high-end office buildings have been building.At the same time,the construction of three-dimensional crossing facilities such as overpasses and underground crossings designed to alleviate the collision of people and vehicles have been building.pedestrian traffic is becoming more and more common in life.The necessity and importance of pedestrian traffic research is also becoming more and more prominent.Summarize the characteristics of pedestrian traffic behavior including the free speed distribution and the three-parameter model of pedestrians on the walking stairs,and the behavior of pedestrians in escalators and their surroundings by analyzing the statistics of pedestrian speed,density,flow and other parameters in three-dimensional traffic.Using questionnaires to collect relevant data on pedestrian stereoscopic traffic mode selection and establish a Logistic mode selection model.Also consider the psychological factors of pedestrians and explore the factors affecting the selection results.It is found that the results of pedestrian three-dimensional transportation mode selection are mainly affected by the gender,age,weight bearing degree,psychological factors,facility height and the length of the queue before the escalator.Based on the research on the characteristics of pedestrian traffic behavior and the choice of pedestrian traffic mode,combined with computer simulation,the simulation model of cellular automata is constructed.The model is used for the optimization and evaluation of pedestrian traffic facilities.The application analysis shows that the model and the facility optimization method have good practical significance.The research findings can provide methodology and technical support for the development of pedestrian traffic,and also provide reference for the planning and design of pedestrian traffic facilities.
