At present,the level of informatization in the field of tunnel engineering in China is relatively low,and the mainstream design tool is still Auto CAD.The way Auto CAD expresses engineering information is 2D,it is difficult to visually display the geometric and spatial position information of the design object,and there are also problems such as lack of correlation of engineering information,low efficiency of information transmission and change.With the development of parametric modeling technology,the 2D tunnel design method can not meet the development needs of the tunnel project,so it is necessary to introduce BIM technology.At present,the BIM application on tunnel design is limited to the "overturning" level.This reverse design method violates the original intention of BIM and cannot reflect the application value of BIM.In the tunnel design phase,the way to maximize the value of BIM applications is 3D forward design.Many design units in China are actively exploring.Based on the Revit software platform,this paper carries out the forward design research of road tunnel based on BIM technology.The research work and main conclusions are as follows:(1)The concept of forward design is expounded,and the process and method of tunnel BIM forward design based on parametric modeling technology are proposed.Five model detail levels(LoD)of road tunnel forward design are defined,and the details and content of each LoD model is specified,laying the foundation for the forward design of the tunnel.(2)A multi-scale road tunnel design modeling method based on parametric 2D sketch and geometric construction operation is proposed:parametric 2D sketches are designed based on Revit family.The Dynamo program implements geometric construction operations and defines the dependencies between the various LoD models.The tunnel model is created and adaptively aligned.at the same time,the tunnel model supports dynamic switching between different LoD models and can maintain consistency when changes occur.(3)Developing Dynamo program for 3D geological modeling,compensating for the deficiency of Revit's geological modeling:the reconstruction of high-precision TIN terrain surfaces based on Delaunay triangulation is realized in Revit,and the drilling data is increased by Kriging interpolation,creating stratigraphic interface and then the creation of the layered geological model,realizing the three-dimensional visualization of the cave based on the 3D scanning technology in the geological environment,which provides reference for tunnel forward design based on 3D geological environment(4)The feasibility and universality of the multi-scale tunnel design modeling method proposed in this paper is verified by a road tunnel engineering case.After the parameterized component family library is established,the construction drawing design and automatic plotting research are carried out based on the multi-scale tunnel model.The integration of the tunnel model with the geological model is realized and used to analyze and evaluate the influence of the existence of the cave on the tunnel structure.The research results of this paper are beneficial to promote the application research of tunnel forward design,further enhance the application value of BIM,and also help to improve the level of informationization and integration in the field of tunnel engineering.
