Wetland Park Planning And Landscape Creativity Based On Sponge City

In recent years,the rapid development of cities has led to massive infrastructure construction.As a result,the available lands for urban construction have shrunk,wetland landscape has been eroded,thereby undermining the ecosystem.In the development process,the wetland surfaces were often covered with hard and impervious materials,such as floor tiles,stone,asphalt,concrete.Such solidified surfaces lost vitality,so that wetlands cannot take spontaneous breathing,and fail to regulate the ecological environment itself.In addition,the water circulation system has also been damaged.For example,the artificial drainage facilities cannot withstand the heavy rain,causing floods within cities.In order to cope with the urban ecological problems caused by the improper management of urban rainwater system,the concept of "sponge city" has been proposed as a new idea and direction for city development.The "Sponge city" is not only a current hot issue,but also an important approach to solve the city waterlogging,and regulate the ecological environment.The traditional extensive development model has seriously damaged the water ecosystem within cities.By contrast,the "sponge city" starts with the basic principle of protecting the urban water system and provides a development mode that has the minimum impact to natural environment.Wetland is known as the "lung of the earth".To better protect the wetland landscape,and maintain the ecological balance of cities,the planning and design of urban wetland parks must employ the concept of "sponge city".This study introduced the concept,characteristics,types and main functions of urban wetland parks,as well as its effect on the promotion of urban ecological environment and the effective and concrete measures of "sponge city" theory.In order to comprehensively and rationally combine the new concept of "sponge city" with the construction of urban wetland parks,we explored the development process of the "low impact development mode" in the foreign countries,so that we can apply the international advanced ecology technology/theory in the planning and design of local wetland parks.According to the research line that propose a question,analyze the problem and solve the problem,this paper was divided into five parts.(It may be better if u list which six here.)We started from ecosystem from the major problems of the planning and landscape creativity of wetland parks,then analyzed the function and significance of protecting urban wetlands.We studied the concrete measures of the concept of the sponge city and the construction of the urban wetland parks.The Xianghu Park in Nanchang city was used as a case study of urban wetland park to show the wetland park planning and landscape creativity based on sponge city.Finally we put forward conclusions and prospects.
