During its use,the architecture is affected unavoidably by natural environment and human factors, such as the change of the load on the structure during the transformation process, people’s higher and higher requirements for the safety of existing architecture, and the lower standard specifications implemented at that time due to the earlier construction period, which would reduce the reliability of the building more or less.In order to ensure the reliability of the architecture structure,it is necessary to carry out the necessary testing, appraisal and reinforcement to ensure the safety of the architecture. In this paper, the testing, appraisal and reinforcement of a museum building are studied,of which the lower part is a reinforced concrete frame structure, and the partial roof is a steel reticulated shell structure. The foundation of the concrete frame structure, the strength of the concrete, the configuration of reinforcements, and the inclination of columns are tested.According to the on-site test data, the bearing capacity of the architecture structure can meet the requirements by checking its bearing capacity.According to the relevant specifications, the safety of reinforced concrete structures is rated as grade Bsu.That is,the overall load-bearing capacity is not significantly affected.Suggestions for treatment of cracks and damages in buildings are put forward.Through on-site testing and finite element analysis,it is found that the stress ratio of the lower chords of the outermost edge of the reticulated shell structure along the circumferential direction exceeds the limit, which will be reinforced by the replacement of the member bar.It is necessary to reinforce the latticed shells for their safety rating Csu.The change of stress ratio of the member bar connected with the reinforced member bar is studied and analyzed by replacing the member bar whose stress ratio exceeds the limit.By replacing the rods with the same wall thickness and different diameters for the stress ratio overrunning rods, when the stress ratio exceeds the over-limit rod,P80mm×3.5mm,the diameter increases by38%,and the cross-sectional area increases by 41%.At this time, only the reinforcement stress ratio of the exceeding members can be used, the stress ratio of all the member bar is controlled below 0.95.When the sectional dimension of the replaced members is larger than P80mm×3.5mm,and the stress ratio of the unreinforced member bar connected with the replaced member bar is close to 1 or greater than 1,the unreinforced member bar connected with replaced member bar also need to be reinforced. In the actual engineering, because of redistribution of internal forces, when the member bar with the different the sectional dimensions are used to replace the member bar whose stress ratio exceeds the limit,it’s not that the more the section dimensions increases, the better, and the stress ratio change of the member bar connected to the reinforced member bar should be considered when increasing the section area. This is a problem worthy of attention in the engineering community.By controlling the section dimensions of the reinforced member bar,not only will the stress ratio of the unreinforced member bar not exceed the limit, but also reduce the construction workload, which has a certain guidance and reference significance for the problem of stress ratio exceeding the limit in engineering. In this paper, through a series of researches on the testing, appraisal and reinforcement of actual engineering,it has formed a relatively complete research link, with the features of high integrity and strong practicability, which can be used as certain reference for testing, appraisal and reinforcement of actual engineering.
