| With the increasing of the amount of cars,The contradiction between existing road infrastructure and increasing travel demand is aggravating.Traffic congestion and traffic safety have become difficult issues that influence large cities thriving prosperity.Among these issues,the urban road traffic cannot entirely get rid of all the negative effects that are aroused by vehicle lane changing.To some degree,they lower the road capacity and greatly increase the difficulty of traffic management.For the problem of vehicle lane changing,two lanes lane-changing model and two-lane stoppering model based on CA theoretical knowledge are studied through both mean field analysis and simulation.The main research findings of this paper are as follows:In the two-lane lane changing model,the vehicle moves with the same direction.When the vehicles are blocked by the preceding vehicles,they will try to change to the other lane with probability p_s if the corresponding site on the sother lane is empty.On the periodic boundary condition,it is found that the probability p_s has little effect on the flow rate at low density.Then,the flow rate decreases with the increase p_s at high density.In addition,the 2-cluster mean-field analysis method for the one lane has been generalized to the two lanes model,which successfully takes into account the correlation.It is shown that the results of the 2-cluster mean field approach agree with the simulation results well.There are three phases for the system,i.e.,the low-density phase(LD),high-density phase(HD)and maximum current phase(MC).The phase diagram of open boundary condition is obtained using the analytical results of periodic boundary condition and flow conservation principle.The analytical results are in preferable agreement with the simulation results.In order to diminishing the deviations between strategy of vehicle competition and realistic road traffic.The two-lane lane changing model and the concept of vehicle jump the queue were proposed.When two vehicles compete with same empty site,they firstly keep still at current time step,and then continue competing with the empty site at next time step through the update rules.We also apply the 2-cluster mean-field method to the improved model,and found that the analytical results agree with the simulation results well.Under open boundary conditions,There also exist three phases for the system.we analyze the critical α_c and β_c for each phase,and the analytical results are in good agreement with the simulation results. |
