With people's pursuit of architectural decoration aesthetics,the development and application of colored sand is more and more popular.However,with the advance of urbanization,the use of natural colored sand,its mineral resources exhausted.It is difficult to meet the demand of the construction market.At the same time,natural colored sand in the process of use,appear uneven color,hardness is small,more brittle,single application range and other problems.So artificial colored sand is getting more and more attention.It has the advantages of uniform color,bright color and can be processed according to the actual application,so it is the only way to replace the natural colored sand.According to the actual production and application of colored sand,the type of artificial color on the market is less,the wear resistance is poor,the price is expensive,and the scope of use is single.Difficult to use on a large scale.In view of these situations,this paper adopts solid waste particle material as particle material,solid waste micro powder as the main cementitious material,and USES inorganic cementitious method to prepare artificial colored sand.The main research contents and achievements are as follows:(1)Study on physical and chemical properties of solid waste particles.The experiment used steel slag,coal gangue and construction waste as raw materials to test its mud content,crushing value,bulk density,apparent density,acid corrosion resistance and hydrolysis characteristics,and compare it with natural quartz sand.The results show that the sludge content and crushing value of the three solid waste steels are the smallest,1.5%and11.6%respectively;the bulk density and apparent density of the steel slag are the largest,2.95 t/m~3 and 1.55 t/m~3 respectively;After soaking in sulfuric acid and water for 7 days,the crushed value and bulk density of the above solid waste particles are slightly changed,and the acid corrosion resistance and hydrolysis resistance are strong.Compared with natural quartz sand,steel slag exhibits superior performance of construction sand,and its performance indicators all meet the requirements of Class II and above in the national standard GB T14684-2011.(2)Research on the test method of sand abrasion resistance.The effects of wear time,wear rate and wear medium on the wear resistance of colored sand were investigated.The results show that the wear rate of artificial colored sand increases with wear rate and wear time,and the wear rate of colored sand increases overall.The wear rates of colored sand in air medium,water medium and styrene-acrylic emulsion medium are as follows:air medium>water medium>styrene-acrylic emulsion medium.It is recommended to select the test method for the abrasion resistance of artificial colored sand:air medium,stirring speed is 200-300r/min,stirring time is 10-30 minutes.(3)The effect of gelling agent on the wear resistance of colored sand.Experiments were carried out to investigate the different coating thicknesses and different preparation methods to prepare colored sand.The samples were analyzed by XRD,SEM,and the like.The experimental results confirmed that the package thickness was 23.4%(bone-bone ratio).The colored sand prepared by the composite gelation has a smooth surface,high sphericity and excellent wear resistance.In the SEM analysis section,it can be seen that when the composite gels,the fault cementing material is tightly combined with the matrix,and the inside of the coating layer is dense;(4)The experiment used hydrothermal curing method to study the effect of hydrothermal curing system on the performance of colored sand.The results show that the wear resistance of artificial colored sand gradually decreases with the extension of natural curing time,and the wear rate is1.3%at 5 days.Under 70°C hydrothermal curing conditions,the wear rate was 0.9%.Under the condition of hydrothermal curing at 70°C,the wear rate of curing for 24 h was 0.96%.(5)Comparison of the performance of artificial colored sand prepared by different methods.Compared with conventional artificial colored sand,the performance of colored sand prepared by inorganic gelation method in this paper is in line with national requirements.Has good acid and alkali resistance.
