In recent years,with the development of Chinese economy,the number of high-rise and super-high-rise building structures and long-span Bridges has increased significantly.As one of the main loads to be considered in this kind of structure,wind load is of great significance in structural response analysis,structural design and safety assessment.Chinese current code for building structure load(GB50009-2012)stipulates that the wind load is determined by the basic wind pressure,while the latter needs to be calculated by using the long-term wind speed data of relevant regions.In fact,some necessary for our country to build area because of a lack of wind speed data for a long time,unable to determine the reasonable basic wind pressure value,general reference in engineering design of the adjacent city of basic wind pressure,however the adjacent city of basic wind pressure often cannot reflect the actual wind pressure situation of the construction site,which greatly hinders the accuracy of the engineering structure design.On the other hand,for the works with short design life,such as demolition works,the basic wind pressure should be matched with the design life.However,in the current code for building load(GB50009-2012),there is no wind pressure for reference when the recurrence period is less than 1 year.In order to solve the above problems,this paper studies the basic wind pressure based on the short-term wind speed data,and provides a reference for the wind load calculation of the regional engineering with lack of long-term wind speed data and the engineering with short design life.In this paper,maximum daily,weekly and monthly wind speed data were used as sample points to collect short-term wind speed data of 54 major cities from 2013 to 2017.Extreme value type I distribution and extreme value type III distribution were selected for statistical analysis of wind speed data.Gumbel method and moment estimation method as the extreme value type I distribution parameter estimation method,and by the method of variable substitution and the least squaremethod as extreme value type III distribution parameter estimation method,using the kolmogorov test test the fitting results of the distribution,found in most of the cities of the day,week,month maximum wind speed samples,only a month maximum wind speed data obey the above two kinds of extreme value distribution.The monthly maximum wind speed data were selected as samples for further study.By comparing the optimal and benign indicators of parameter estimation,it is concluded that the extreme value type III distribution fits well with the monthly maximum wind speed data of each city,and the variable substitution method is the optimal parameter estimation method.Based on the above conclusions,the basic wind pressures of the54 cities with different recurrence periods were calculated,including the situation that the recurrence period was less than 1 year.The calculation results are compared with the wind pressure standard value provided by the specification.The results show that in the area where there is no long-term wind speed data,the short-term wind speed data can be used to determine the basic wind pressure according to the maximum monthly wind speed data with the extreme value type III distribution as the probability distribution.In this paper,the process and results of calculating basic wind pressure by this method are illustrated with fuyang city,which lacks long-term wind speed data.In this paper,Midas gen software is used to calculate the wind load and structural response of a high-rise shear wall structure in fuyang city by taking the basic wind pressure of fuyang city obtained based on short-term wind speed data and the basic wind pressure of the neighboring city bozhou specified in the code as an example.The structure meets the requirements of the code under two kinds of wind loads.By comparing the displacement and internal force response of the structure under two kinds of wind loads,when the basic wind pressure of fuyang city based on short-term wind speed data is taken for calculation,the maximum bottom shear force and bending moment increase by 9.2%,and the maximum inter-storey displacement Angle increases by 9.1%,the calculation result is relatively safe.Therefore,structural analysis and design based on the basic wind pressure obtained from theshort-term wind speed data is a feasible method in the area where there is a lack of long-term wind speed data.
