The Southern Song Dynasty Garden was in the transition period of Chinese traditional gardens,which laid the basic appearance of Jiangnan gardens in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The Lin'an Garden is the key to understanding the gardens of the Southern Song Dynasty.This article will study the situation of the Lin'an Garden in the Southern Song Dynasty through historical materials and remains of the site.West Lake has left a wealth of literature,and research on historical materials will first clarify the age and importance of different documents.In the process,Dong Wei's "West Lake Bailu" was found to have very high value,but it has not received much attention before,so it is devoted to it.In this way,we have discovered the misunderstanding that Yang Cunzhong and Yang Junwang have owned gardens for a long time.In addition,images are a special historical material.In history,there are three important depictions of the West Lake panorama in the Southern Song Dynasty.The landscape paintings of the Southern Song Dynasty also show a lot of garden information.In recent years,Hangzhou has continued to have archaeological discoveries of the Southern Song Dynasty gardens.There are also many remains of the Southern Song Dynasty gardens in the mountains and forests.The remains of these sites provide valuable examples.Comprehensive research found that the Southern Song Dynasty gardens continue to be in the genes of Hangzhou gardens,representing the cultural commonality of gardens.
