Fabricated hollow slab bridge is widely used in highway transportation in China.Hinge joint is an important component structure of the fabricated hollow slab bridge,which is very important to improve the integrity of the bridge and ensure the coordinated force of each hollow slab.However,in the operation of fabricated hollow slab bridges,hinged joints often appear diseases as a weak link.The stress of hinge joint structure is complex and affected by many factors.Aiming at the deficiency of current research,this paper discusses the influence of hinge height on the mechanical performance of fabricated hollow slab bridge from many aspects,which is based on the influence factor of hinge height.Firstly,the stress of hinge joints of fabricated hollow slab bridge is discussed preliminarily,which is based on the calculating theory of articulated slab method.On this basis,three groups of organic glass hollow slab bridge models with different hinge heights are designed and manufactured.Static load tests are carried out on three groups of hollow slab bridge models.The deflection curves,transverse stress curves and longitudinal stress curves of different hollow slab bridge models are obtained.Finally,the composite plane stress element which combines isoparametric element with elastic support is equivalent to the cross section of hollow slab bridge,and the finite element analysis is carried out,which is compared with the theoretical calculation results and the experimental results.The results show that,based on load landscape orientation distributing,the fabricated hollow slab bridge with high hinge joint has better mechanical performance,smoother deflection curve and more uniform distribution of transverse stress and longitudinal stress.The results of finite element calculation are in good agreement with the experimental results.The transverse stress of the hinge joint is obvious.There is not only a simple vertical shear force in the hinge joint.The calculation theory of the hinge plate method can not reflect the real and reasonable stress form of the hinge joint.The composite plane stress element introduced in this paper can simulate the transverse force mode of hollow slab bridge,which can make up for the shortcomings of traditional articulated slab method,and obtain more practical and reliable calculation results.
