In the process of China's "car-powered country" to "car-powered country",once the "market-for-technology" approach and the joint venture model brought China's automobile manufacturing industry into the "core technology hollowing out" dilemma,this dilemma makes China The level of automobile manufacturing stays at the stage of imitating innovation,so that it cannot make breakthroughs in the high-end automobile field.The automobile manufacturing industry,as a strategically important pillar industry with strong relevance,is an important carrier of technological innovation and plays an important role in technological innovation of upstream and downstream industries.Positive promotion.In view of the fact that FDI has greatly promoted the development of China's automobile manufacturing industry in the past,this paper studies the impact of FDI technology spillover effects on China's automobile manufacturing industry,and deepens China's opening up,industrial development and global value in the context of globalization.Chain status is of great significance.Most of the existing researches on FDI technology spillovers focus on the macro-industry level.Research from the micro-enterprise level is rare,and research on FDI technology spillovers born in the technological progress of enterprises is even rarer.This paper follows the research ideas of "theoretical analysis,empirical analysis,and policy recommendations",and discusses the impact of FDI technology spillover effects on the technological progress of China's automobile manufacturing industry from the heterogeneity of enterprises with different ownership.Firstly,the data of 11 automobile manufacturing enterprises with different ownerships in China from 1998 to 2015 are selected.Based on the total factor productivity measurement model,the Malmquist index method in data envelopment analysis is used to measure the overall technological progress of China's automobile manufacturing industry.Graphically analyze the changing rules and fluctuation trends of TFP growth in the automobile manufacturing industry from the perspective of enterprises with different industries and ownership.According to the calculation results of TFP,the overall technological progress of China's automobile manufacturing industry is obvious;through thedecomposition of TFP in automobile manufacturing industry,the growth of pure technological progress is the main influencing factor of TFP growth in China's automobile manufacturing industry,and the growth of scale efficiency is technology.The main influencing factors of efficiency growth;according to the enterprise-level measurement results with different ownership,it can be seen that all the enterprises in the research show technological progress,among which the joint-venture enterprises and the foreign-invested enterprises have the highest technology growth rate and the private enterprises have the lowest.Secondly,on the basis of distinguishing between horizontal spillover effect and vertical spillover effect,the R&D investment is included in the measurement framework,and the static and dynamic panel regression model is used to empirically analyze the specific impact of FDI technology spillover effect on China's automobile manufacturing TFP.The results show that the entry of FDI has a significant positive spillover effect on China's automobile manufacturing industry,both short-term and long-term.Among them,the enterprise capital stock in the horizontal spillover effect has a significant positive impact on the TFP of the automobile manufacturing industry.Due to the existence of the“crowding out effect”,foreign direct investment has a significant negative impact;the former in the vertical spillover effect The correlation spillover effect has a significant negative impact on TFP in the short term,and has no significant negative impact in the long run.The backward correlation spillover effect has a significant positive impact on TFP in the short term,and has no significant positive impact in the long run;Inputs have a significant positive impact on the TFP of the automotive industry,both short-term and long-term.Finally,based on the main research conclusions of this paper,combined with the development status of China's automobile manufacturing industry,the government and enterprises face the corresponding policy recommendations on how to use FDI to promote the technological progress of China's automobile manufacturing industry.
