The underwater target simulator is an assistant platform for underwater acoustic equipment testing.It can simulate the acoustic and motion characteristics of underwater targets,help to complete the functional testing of underwater acoustic equipment and reduce the cost of testing.In this paper,the design and implementation of signal processing software for underwater target simulator are studied with the background of towed active sonar detection system.Firstly,the design of active sonar emission waveform is studied.The time and frequency resolution,anti-reverberation ability and signal detection results of several typical signals are compared and analyzed.The active sonar emission signal is designed as a combination of LFM signal and CW signal.In this paper,signal detection methods and fast engineering implementation methods,high precision time delay,amplitude and frequency estimation methods are studied for broadband and single frequency signals.This paper also studies the MUSIC high resolution time delay estimation algorithm,which can be used to distinguish between direct and multipath signals with small delay difference.In this paper,simulation demonstration and performance analysis are carried out for the above research contents.Finally,the method of constructing analog echo is discussed,and FIR filter is designed to compensate the fluctuation of frequency response characteristics of transmitting transducer.Based on the hardware platform of underwater target simulator with the core of TMS320C6678,this paper designs and compiles a set of signal processing software.The specific functions and design schemes of signal acquisition and transmission module,network communication module,signal processing module,inter-core communication module,analog echo construction module,implementation process and multi-core startup mode based on I2 C guiding TFTP boot mode are given.Finally,the signal processing software of underwater target simulator is tested,including data transmission test,instruction transmission test,signal processing module test,analog echo structure test,and lake test.The results of the test are analyzed to verify the stability and validity of the signal processing software of underwater target simulator.
