| Objectives: To analyze the psychological status and personality characteristics of Nanning motor vehicle drivers in Guangxi,determine the polymorphisms of 5-HTR1 A and 1B loci,explore the relationship between the above factors and drivers’ accident proneness,and find out the possible gene loci related to accident proneness.From the physiological aspects of driver’s psychology,personality characteristics and gene polymorphism,this paper explores the psychological and genetic mechanism of driver’s accident proneness,and provides scientific basis for preventing traffic injuries.Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria set by the study,48 motorcycle drivers were selected by case-control study,and 97 motorcycle drivers were selected as accident group and control group.The baseline data and psychological and personality scales of drivers were collected to evaluate the differences in basic information and psychological and personality characteristics.The driver’s blood samples were sampled,and the rs6295 locus of 5-HTR1 A gene and rs6296 locus of 5-HTR1 B gene were selected ascandidate genes by fluorescence quantitative PCR technology.The polymorphism of the above gene loci was genotyped.Results:(1)There were significant differences in sleeping time,marital status,alcohol consumption and monthly income between the accident group and the control group(P<0.05);(2)There were significant differences in GHQ-12 scores between the two groups(t=-2.34,P<0.05);(3)Multivariate analysis showed that married factors(OR = 0.24,95% CI = 0.098-0.65)might be the protection of accident tendency of motor vehicle drivers.Factor:(4)Compared with the control group,the drivers in the accident group of Han nationality had lower GHQ-12 scores(P < 0.05).The scores of self-esteem and extroversion factors were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);(5)Compared with educational background,drivers in the accident group had lower GHQ-12 scores than those in the control group.The total scores of TMD,nervousness,anger and other emotional,neuroticism and friendliness were higher than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);(6)The scores of GHQ-12 of non-smoking drivers and accident drivers were lower than those of the control group,while the scores of TMD nervousness,anger,fatigue,depression,energy,panic,self-esteem,neuroticism,extroversion and friendliness were higher than those of the control group.The scores of GHQ-12 and friendliness in smoking group and accident group were higher than those in control group,and the scores of self-esteem were lower than those in control group(P<0.05);(7)the scores of friendliness factors in drinking group and accident group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05);(8)driving in group with less than 6 hours’ sleep time.Drivers in accident group scored higher in friendliness factor than those in control group,with significant difference(P< 0.05);(9)Drivers who were prone to traffic accidents hadcorrelations with their age,drinking,sleep,exercise and income levels and their corresponding personality characteristics and psychological status(P<0.05);(10)After adjusting for age,driving age,nationality,education,drinking and daily sleeping time,rs629 The CG/GG mutant genotype at locus 5 may reduce the risk of RTIs(OR = 0.388,95% CI: 0.166-0.907,P = 0.029).(11)In the accident group,the energy and self-esteem scores of the CC genotype at rs6296 locus were lower than those of the CG/GG group.In the control group,the scores of mental fatigue and friendliness of the CC genotype at rs6295 locus were higher than those of the CG/GG group(P<0.05).Conclusions: The psychological status and personality characteristics of motor vehicle drivers are correlated with their accident proneness.Adequate sleep,married,non-drinking and higher income level may be protective factors of accident proneness.The rs6295 polymorphism of 5-HTR1 A may be related to the accident proneness of motor vehicle drivers.The two loci of rs6295 and rs6296 may be related to the psychology of motor vehicle drivers.State and personality characteristics are related. |
