Owing to superior performance and diving comfort,asphalt pavements account for a large proportion in highways and city roads.However,due to aging,the deformation ability of asphalt pavement is weakened,and net cracks will appear in serious cases,which directly affects the usage performance and life of pavement.therefore,the study on aging performance of asphalt pavement has important practical significance to improve its usage quality and life.AH-70#asphalt and AC-13 graded polyester fiber asphalt mixture was selected for indoor simulated aging test.The effect of aging on the water stability of polyester fiber asphalt mixture was studied by immersion Marshall test.The effect of aging on the low temperature performance of polyester fiber asphalt mixture was studied by low temperature splitting test.Main conclusions are shown as follows:(1)When the soaking time of the samples is the same,with the aging degree deepening,the stability and residual strength ratio of polyester fiber asphalt mixture show a downward trend,which indicates that aging has an effect on the water stability of polyester fiber asphalt mixture.(2)Under the same aging condition,the stability and residual strength ratio of polyester fiber asphalt mixture decrease with the increase of soaking time.This shows that the soaking time affects the water stability,and the longer the soaking time,the worse the water stability.(3)At the same temperature,the curves of the splitting tensile strength and failure stiffness modulus of polyester fiber asphalt mixture show an upward trend with the deepening of aging degree,while the failure tensile strain shows a downward trend.It indicates that the lower temperature performance of polyester fiber asphalt mixture is worse with the deepening of aging degree.(4)Under the same aging condition,the splitting tensile strength and failure stifness modulus of polyester fiber asphalt mixture decrease with the increase of temperature,while the failure tensile strain increases with the increase of temperature.This indicates that the change of temperature has an effect on the low temperature performance of polyester fiber asphalt mixture.(5)According to the analysis of test data,the short-term aging state has the greatest influence on polyester fiber asphalt mixture,which indicates that the aging at the mixing stage is the most rapid and serious during the construction.The mixing temperature and time of asphalt mixture should be strictly controlled in construction.Figure 33 Table 21 Reference 55...
