Car financing lease is a car purchase method based on installment payment,introducing the separation of automobile use rights and ownership.When the lease expires,the lessee pays the balance to obtain the ownership of the vehicle.Compared with the traditional phased car purchase,car financing leasing has become a hot topic in the industry with its lower application threshold,the more flexible audit data,the faster speed of picking up the car,the lower down payment,and having the car insurance and the license.With the rejuvenation of the car buying community and the shift in consumer awareness,the car finance leasing industry is in a period of rapid development.From 2017,Baidu,Tencent,Jingdong,Alibaba and other Internet industry giants have laid out auto financing leasing industry,and some young companies like Tangeche,Guaziershouche also join the fierce competition.Automobile finance leasing is expected to become an important innovation direction and power source for the new retail and auto finance industries.However,in the early days of the rapid rise of auto financing leases,there were also problems such as imperfect legal supervision and insufficient credit reporting system.Behind the fact that auto financing leasing occupies the headlines of major media websites,the reality of the residents’ purchase willingness for car financing lease has caused this article to think.This paper takes the residents of Nanchang City as the survey object,from the perspective of consumers,examines the awareness of the auto financing lease of Nanchang residents,the willingness to purchase and its influencing factors,and the preferred car purchase plan.Through correlation analysis,cluster analysis and Multi-class logistic regression draws the following conclusions:Nanchang residents have a lower overall awareness of the auto financing leasing model,but the residents’ purchase willingness for auto financing leases is strong;the education level,the willingness to purchase a car in the past year,the experience of buying a car by financing leasing,monthly average rent and lease term significantly affect residents’ willingness to purchase cars through financial leasing.Specifically,residents in the second,third and fourth tier cities and below,after the 80 s and 90 s with lower education are more willing to use the financial leasing method to purchase cars.The optimal rental period is 3 years,and the market for quasi-new cars demand and potential are the biggest,followed by new cars;residents who have the willingness to purchase cars in the past year are strong supporters of car financing leases;residents who had car financing leasing experience are very satisfied with their car purchase experience,and the willingness to purchase twice is strong.For the specific car purchase plan preferred by residents,young and middle-aged female consumers withannual household income of 50,000-100,000 yuan prefer the new SUV of 100,000 yuan,with 10%~15% down payment ratio,the monthly rent below 2,000 yuan and the three-year repayment period;young and middle-aged male consumers with an annual household income of 100,000-200,000 are more inclined to buy new SUVs of150,000 yuan,with 15%~20% down payment,monthly rent of 2000-3000 yuan,and three-year repayment period.Finally,the paper puts forward five specific suggestions for the development of the auto financing leasing industry.It hopes to provide a reference for the auto financing leasing industry in business development and new product launch,so that it can better meet the car purchase needs of Nanchang residents,thereby achieving a win-win situation.
