In recent years,the development of structural optimization technology can make use of structural materials more reasonable,economical and meet the requirements of the performance.As a particularly important part of structural optimization,topology optimization,whose main purposes are to greatly improve the layout and performance of structures and reduce the use of materials,has obvious economic benefits.Therefore,it has become a popular topic in academic and engineering fields.Meanwhile,the recently proposed topology optimization method for structural layout of movable morphable bars,can not only express the structural formulations explicitly,but also has the advantage of the fast optimization speed.Therefore,the selection of this topic has great research significance and practical application.Firstly,the present situation,basic models and characteristics of Solid Isotropic Material with Penalization and the Level-set method in the implicit topology optimization are described,and the comparison and analysis of these two methods are made.The movable morphable components method,geometric projection method and topology optimization method for structural layout of movable morphable bars are the explicit topology optimization.These methods are also described with the current situation,basic principles and characteristics.Secondly,topology optimization method for structural layout of movable morphable bars is studied.Inspired by the two ideas of elementary density and modularization,the elementary density function and the corresponding optimization model are established.The formulations of sensitivity analysis are improved by the vector form.Thirdly,by using the Matlab software,a clear and reasonable program-oriented chart is conceived.I design the program codes of the improved method,establish appropriate function modules,and analyze the formulas and programs of each function module in details,so as to simplify some complicated codes by using the vectors as the intermediary.Therefore all optimization programs for two-dimensional structures can be controlled.Finally,three classical examples are used to verify the effectiveness of the improved topology optimization method and the self-developed Matlab program for the structural layout of the movable deformed bar.The compliance of the optimization results is reduced to a certain extent and the optimization speed is greatly improved.
